11 Ways Investing in Impact Helps Your Business

You’ve bought into the idea that investing in your business is a good idea. You’ve seen the results in action, the return on investment.

ROI is by no means a guarantee. It never is. You do your due diligence and research, and then you decide if it’s worth the calculated risk for the return you want.

What is guaranteed, though, is that without investment – of time, energy, and money – there is no return.

The decision to invest in a strategic shift can be most challenging, because the benefits are often delayed. Why do it? Because strategy drives everything in your business.

Your commitment to a strategic approach that is focused on impact is at the heart of your decision to invest in it.

So why invest in impact? Here are 11 reasons, 11 ways you’ll reap the returns:

  1. Companies that focus on impact have 12-14 times more income than those that focus only on profit. They even perform better than best practices companies in Jim Collins’ Good to Great list.
  1. You have distinctive positioning. This is especially important for crowded markets and those with established and well-regarded players. Both millennials and over-40s are drawn to companies with a higher purpose, by knowing that their purchases matter. People are increasingly willing to look at products and services not just as commodities, but as the opportunity to have a high value experience grounded in impact and the ability to contribute themselves just by supporting impact-focused companies.
  1. You attract the best people, ones that are motivated by your mission. That means an engaged workforce. People are inspired to perform above and beyond, to bring themselves more fully into their work. Fulfilling work, where we spend so much of our days, helps us have a fulfilling life.
  1. You reduce the churn of employee departures. You avoid money and knowledge lost due to increased turnover and the loss of valued employees It’s a renewing wheel where you retain valuable employees in the older age range with their wealth of experience and promising young performers too, and bring in even more engaged people into your workforce, and potentially even new customers as engaged employees become brand ambassadors.
  1. You thrive with a higher purpose. What helps you get through those challenging times is a bigger picture, a greater contribution that you are willing to make. So you move through obstacles more easily, you stay motivated to move through them, and you don’t waste a lot of time and energy wishing things were different.
  1. You avoid commoditization. For people aligned with your vision of impact, a purchase from your company becomes a moral and ethical decision, not just a cost comparison.
  1. When you don’t invest in impact, you remain trapped in the profit economy, which is dying along with the companies in it, at a faster and faster rate. A move to the impact economy, with a pivot in your company to focus on impact, helps you be sustainable.
  1. You nurture a company culture that helps people flourish. We all want to contribute to something bigger than ourselves. We don’t want to just be a cog in a wheel that churns out products and services. We want to know that what we do matters. With impact in mind, we elevate day-to-day work to this enhanced level of contribution and creativity. We work together to achieve that.
  1. You create value for all stakeholders. This happens at multiple levels: financial, employees, suppliers, investors, and your community.
  1. Your company has enhanced market valuation. Your financial performance is directly related to impact. Even if you’re not building to sell, increased market valuation can give you leverage with investors.
  1. You make a difference. You have more opportunities to innovate, build, and contribute. Companies can do good in the world. You can contribute beyond money, to your employees, to customers, and the larger world, with an impact focus.

It’s not enough to think that impact is a good idea. You have to commit to it on a strategic level. You have to invest in it.

Impact is where your business meets the world and makes it a better place. True leaders value the well-being of all. Invest in making your company impactful.

Stop Arguing for Your (and Your Company’s) Limitations

Your choices are very powerful.

When you make choices that are world-class, you’ll get world-class results. Mediocre choices? Mediocre results.

Most of us spend a lot of energy justifying bad behavior. How many times have you ignored your best self and gone ahead and done that thing you swore you’d never do again, making an excuse? I was in a rush. It doesn’t really matter – it’s only this one time.

Chances are, it’s happened already today.

When your actions aren’t congruent with your values, it creates instant dissonance. Stress. And since impact is anchored in your values, reduced impact.

Stop making excuses for your limiting behavior. Stop wasting your precious energy and your company’s valuable resources practicing negative behaviors. Behaviors that keep you in the mediocre zone.

To get different results, do things differently.

If you want to change the world with your business, if you want to live a magnificent life, you’ll have to stop making poor choices that sabotage your and your company’s success.

Why do we do this?

Change is hard! Your limitations have become comfortable. They’re a sad kind of safety zone where at least it’s the devil you know.

Stepping out beyond the envelope of comfort can be intimidating. In the moment, it feels more painful to step out of your limitations than to act out of alignment with your values.

How badly do you want to keep your limitations?

People who want to change the world are willing to trade safe choices for the freedom to make a difference.

Are you willing to give up your comfort for the chance to contribute to making the world a better place?

Top 10 Questions You MUST Ask an Event Planner Before Your Next Speaking Gig

Last week we started talking about getting started as a professional speaker, and some tips to give your business a boost. One of the key points is to be polished, professional and at ease, in any situation – the best way to do this is to be prepared – for everything.

I had the opportunity to sit in on a keynote a few years ago, that was an honor to attend. I was amazed at how she spoke to a room of thousands, yet made it feel like I was one of very few. However, I cringed watching her walk onstage, in heels, with stairs, dimly lit, I don’t know how she didn’t fall. Had she stumbled, the talk would have been ruined, and she would have been embarrassed. The lesson, asking the room set up before the event (stairs and lighting!)

Here are our top 10 questions you should ask the event planner before any speaking engagement:

  1. Will the event be recorded, and can you get a copy of the recording? You’ll also want to confirm, if they’re willing to share the recording, that you’re OK to post all or part of it on your website or social media.
  2. What is the dress code for the event? If the event is business casual, you want to dress slightly above without being formal. If the event is black tie, you should be on level with the attendees.
  3. Is there a networking/casual event you can attend either before or after, or both? This is something very few speakers ask to do. Attending a casual event prior allows you the opportunity to see how the group interacts and how that lines up with your talk. Also, networking with attendees later gives you the opportunity to further engage with attendees.
  4. Will there be a podium? We don’t recommend standing behind a podium for your whole talk, but it is nice to have a “home base,” somewhere to put your water glass down or leave some notes.
  5. Will there be a microphone, is it handheld or lapel? If it’s a lapel mic, make sure you’re wearing something that it can be comfortably clipped to.
  6. Will there be Q&A, how will questions be facilitated? Also, ask how much time should be left for questions. A little tip is to have “bonus” content prepared if there are no questions.
  7. Will there be technical support present? Very important in a large room when using a mic, or if you’re doing a slide presentation.
  8. Ask if you can get a list of attendees? If not, ask if you can offer a giveaway to collect business cards – just remember to abide by spam laws, and make sure your first contact with attendees confirms their permission to continue emailing them.
  9. What is the room set up? How many people will be in the room? Will there be a stage, or are you on level with attendees? While most of this doesn’t affect your talk, it does help you get a sense for the room.
  10. Can you get into the room ahead of time to set up, test audio? How hard is the stop on the session? Do you have time to mingle as people are entering or departing from the room? It’s a great time to exchange business cards.

So why all the questions?

First, you want to be prepared. The more you know in advance, the more comfortable you’ll be.

Second, each speaking engagement is not just one speaking engagement. It’s a room full of opportunities to continue to impact your target audience.

What questions do you ask before an event? We’d love to hear your stories! Join us here on our blog or over on a Facebook page. Still refining your message and need a little guidance, reach out for a consult. We’d be happy to share some tips and tricks to help you plan for your next talk!

You Could Be Sabotaging The Long-Term Success of Your Own Business

As entrepreneurs we’re challenged to find ways to attract new customers and clients, manage our time efficiently, use our funds wisely, promote our business in a cost-effective manner and develop a strategic plan. Many of us attend conferences, networking events and training sessions seeking some new and profound revelation that will catapult our business to the next level. Rather than being inspired, it’s blah, blah, blah… we’ve heard it all before and often walk away disappointed that it was just a waste of time. Not because there wasn’t anything of value to take away, but because we graded the experience based upon how much of the teaching was more of the same rather than honing in on that little nugget that could dramatically improve our bottom line.

Suppose you were to take off in a ship at the equator with the intent to sail the globe. Let’s say you plot out your route but, without realizing it, you’re off by one degree. By the time you return to the same longitude, you would be off course by a thousand miles. This same principle can be applied to your business, but with positive results.

The key to building a long-term, thriving business does not always require a major overhaul, but it could be a matter of making a small shift in the way you’re currently doing business. It all depends upon your stage of development. If you’re a start-up, it’s not uncommon for you to make major changes in the beginning. But, if you’ve been in business a while and you’re looking to take it to the next level, more than likely you may only need to make incremental shifts to position your business for long-term, sustainable success.

A few years ago I had the privilege of a one-on-one business strategy session with the networking guru, George Fraser. I soaked up every word like a sponge. During the course of the hour, he shared many aspects of business that were not really new; I’d heard them before. I knew, however, that at his level of success, there was something he could impart to me that would be a game changer. Well, he didn’t disappoint! In answering my question, “George, what is the secret to your success?” he advised me to “Build your platform.” I realized that I needed to be consistent. This meant taking strategic steps to grow my market, expand my message which, in turn, would establish my brand.

I had heard this before but, for some reason, it didn’t have the same impact. This time I had a light bulb moment! Suddenly I realized that this could very well be the one degree shift I needed to profoundly impact my business for long-term success.

Four little words that can sabotage the success of your business are, “I already knew that.” It’s not what you know that determines your success, but it’s what you do with it that makes the difference. If you’re hearing more of the same, it could be an indication that you’re further along in your development than you realized. Enter every learning opportunity with an open mind. Don’t make the mistake of overlooking the obvious in search of the spectacular. The key to unlocking the future of your business may be just one degree away.

Stop Managing Your Time and Do This Instead

Racing to the next meeting. Hurrying to finish the project.

That can define your days. And busy as you are, it can still leave you feeling that you haven’t used your time well.

With all our many time management systems, time still seems to slip by. You haven’t accomplished everything you wanted to.

The fundamental basis of time management is that it’s a limited resource, something to be managed and every drop squeezed out of it.

That can leave you feeling exhausted.

I’m here to recommend an alternative.

Instead of clock-watching, focus on your priorities instead. What is most important to you in terms of the impact that you want to have?

In order to do that, you’ll have to clearly define for yourself and for your company what your intended impact is. How will you grow and develop your amazing self and company and contribute to making the world better for all of us? That’s the essential question about your impact.

To focus you in, it’s valuable to develop one statement that, on a high level, encompasses the impact you want to have.

You may already have that clarity. If you do, write it down! That’s your Impact Purpose statement.

If you don’t, one way to start to access that clarity is to think back on the things you’ve done that have felt very fulfilling for you. Is there a common thread?

Once you have your Impact Purpose statement, incorporate a focus on impact into your planning, and each quarter, each week, and each day will give you the opportunity to have more impact.

If you can include at least one impactful thing in your day, you’ll make a big impact over time.

A Simple and Powerful Tool for High-Impact Achievement in 2019

It’s coming up to a new calendar year. A great time for planning.

When you plan for your upcoming year, you can be ably guided by your Impact Purpose. That defining statement that summarizes the impact you want to have with your business. I’ve covered the process for clarifying your Impact Purpose in other articles, so I won’t focus on that here.

With your Impact Purpose, it clarifies the ‘what’, but not the ‘how’.

Here’s a simple and powerful tool you can use to guide your ‘how’ in the coming year.

You may have heard of the ‘word of the year’. It’s an aspirational word that encompasses the feeling of how you want to move into and through the year. It captures an elegant idea, the essence of something significant for you. It becomes the catalyst for a deep shift in your way of being.

A meaningful word that really engages your power is about both you and others, how you treat yourself and others, including your clients, your employees, and your suppliers. A meaningful word helps you delineate the ‘how’ of your everyday actions.

In my own past, I’ve used words like, ‘courage’, ‘abundance’, and ‘connect’. To help remind me, I’ve printed the words on index cards and even had a bracelet made one year.

These words have proven to be a powerful guide when I am in the weeds and forget who I am and what I want to achieve. So why not just choose a word of the year for 2019?

Because I’ve changed. I no longer plan my year on an annual basis. I’ve found that annual planning is not nearly as effective as planning for 12 week periods. In those 12 weeks, I can maintain high energy. I can stay highly motivated. I can get a TON done. And at the end, I can celebrate my accomplishments.

With a longer time frame, like a year or more, all of those things fade. The year’s end seems far away, with lots of time to get things done.

Truth? The year’s end will sneak up on you, and you may find that you didn’t accomplish nearly as much as you’d planned.

Using the 12 week time frame has been a powerful shift in planning for me. And I needed an aspirational ‘how’ to match it.

So in this coming year, I’ll be choosing a word of the quarter instead. A word that summarizes the feeling of how I want to move through my 12 weeks.

We all need inspiration for our aspirations.

You can be inspired by adopting this practice yourself, and really kick up serious and impactful change in your first quarter of 2019.

Take Charge Of Your Life With These Top Leadership Tips

The unique assemblage of traits and qualities that comprise a truly great leader can sometimes prove quite mysterious and elusive. To really grasp what effective leadership entails, it is important to acquire a thorough education on its principles and truths. The material below should provide a strong basis for any study of the topic of leadership.

It is wise to use honesty as a great starting point for leadership. Your job will be to lead others in the right direction. If you are an honest leader, those around you are going to see your good intentions and want to be a part of them. Always be honest when dealing with your colleagues because you can influence them to be honest.

When you’re a leader, make sure that your team with people. You must remember that you are a part of a team. Individual voices can contribute to and better an entire project so try bringing others together to collaborate. Leaders are never alone. Do your best to invite as many perspectives into the discussion and decision-making processes as you can.

A good leader, or manager, will go out of his or her way to get to know employees better. Not just about work-related topics, but about their outside activities, family and interests. Employees appreciate it when their leaders acknowledge them in ways that don’t pertain to work. This makes the relationship a little more personal.

Don’t make the mistake of ordering people around. That is not true leadership. The key to true leadership is to inspire those around you. You need to help them find their own voices so that they can go on to lead others. The entire journey they take with you is about their ability to know themselves better.

Be sure that you spend some time each day out of your office, and in the midst of the workforce. Try to be a part of the group, while maintaining your leadership role. You can use this time to get to know your employees, ask questions or even join them for lunch.

Promotions, bonuses and raises should always be fairly distributed and based on performance. Don’t simply promote the person who has been working with you the longest or hand out the biggest rise to a family member. Your employees will be more motivated when they know that they can earn tangible rewards for working hard.

Spend more time in the office than out of it. It may be exciting to travel everywhere that you can, but suitcase leadership doesn’t really inspire the teams back at the main office. If you find yourself travelling more than half the time, then you can be sure your employees aren’t seeing you as their leader. They need to see you there.

Don’t fear to fail. Failing is something that many great leaders have done, and it has only spurred them on to greater victories. If you fear failure, you may be afraid to act boldly, which is the only way for a leader to act. If you fail at something, use it to help you change directions.

Be prepared for conflict and try to deal with it before it gets out of hand. Ignoring conflict will make the problem worse and make you look too weak to handle it. Practising good communication skills with your employees will help them feel more respected even if they don’t agree with specific decisions.

Keep in mind that hope is not always a good thing. If you or your business are involved in a situation that has an inevitable and bad ending, do what is necessary to terminate the situation and move on. Employees will never forgive blind optimism in such circumstances, and it’s better for everyone to have a bad situation behind them as soon as possible.

Good leaders hire good people to work for them. If you refuse to hire individuals that you fear may become the competition, you undermine your own chances for success. Search out people who are as passionate about your industry as you are and encourage their problem-solving abilities and reward their successes.

Anyone in a leadership role should be concerned about trust. You must be able to trust your team or workforce, and they must also be able to trust you. Try having a meeting periodically with a small group, where trust issues are discussed, and solved. Look for good articles on the subject of trust in the workplace, and read them with your group, giving each other feedback and suggestions.

As a leader, you are responsible for forming the goals and aspirations of your team. Come up with a best-case scenario for your team, and your vision for the future. Share these goals with them, and ask them for their feedback and suggestions. A true leader has a team under him that is focused on the same goals, and how to achieve them.

Always listen to feedback. The opinions of your employees are important and can be helpful. Some criticism might be hard to take, but try to be receptive to it. Make sure your workers know they can come to you with any feedback they might have. Point of views that differ from your own is valuable.

The value of strong leadership to any business enterprise simply cannot be overstated. The ability to motivate and spur others onto greatness is a rare thing indeed, and something that is indeed worthy of examination. With any luck, the information provided above has been a great starting point for readers everywhere.

Discover The Tips That Can Lead You To A Prosperous Affiliate Marketing Strategy

If it’s affiliate marketing that you want to learn about then you have come to the right place. When it comes to affiliate marketing it’s sometimes the little tips that you know that contributes to your success. Experts and newcomers alike can appreciate any and all tips that come there way, so dive in and digest these useful tips.

When selecting an affiliate marketing program, look for a company that offers a unique product. If you are just one person in a sea of reviews for the same product, you are less likely to have a high number of buyers. Promoting a product that is unlike anything else on the market and is not being promoted by many others will have a higher rate of success.

Use content marketing to sell affiliate products. Most people will not buy a product through an affiliate link without any prior information about the product or what it can do for them. To increase future sales send potential customers to an authority website where you regularly provide helpful advice related to the niche your affiliate product falls into. Include your affiliate link on the site.

When looking for payout from an affiliate marketing program, remember that many companies will hold on to your money for quite some time after a sale. In many cases, you have to meet a lower threshold before you are allowed to withdraw your commission. In other cases, the parent company may hold your money until after they ship the product, to ensure the order isn’t cancelled or returned. Don’t expect instant payout on a sale.

Developing and keeping a list of ideas handy is a great way to achieve in affiliate marketing. Once you learn a great tip or have one of those proverbial light bulb moments, always remember to make a note of it so you can refer to it later on. As you progress in your note-keeping, you can begin to form campaigns from loose ideas.

Using text services can help you earn profits. Although this is a new service, many affiliates are already using it to communicate with customers as well as promote new affiliate offers and products.

Affiliates with blogs should be keeping their readers informed at all times. Blogs by nature have regularly updated content, and thus they receive recurring visitors. Create a resource page for your visitors so that they can easily check and find old content if they are interested in knowing more.

While using affiliate marketing, remember that you want Internet users to trust in you. If you use an ad for a product or company that you don’t have faith in, your customers will not have faith in it (or you) either. Too many ads, or ads that are not relevant to your content, will seem suspicious, and visitors will end up not trusting what you have to say.

Add content that your readers want along with your affiliate links. If you provide reasons for your audience to click on your links, you will find much better success. If you just type a list of baby items you like with links, you’ll receive much less response than if you type reviews and why you loved these items.

Nothing destroys a visitor’s opinion of a website owner faster than a concealed advertisement. This does not mean that it is impossible to satisfy visitors and engage in affiliate marketing; the honest webmaster is simply honest and transparent about it. Visitors should always be made aware when a website gets money for endorsing a particular product. They rarely resent a straightforward advertisement as they do a duplicitous one.

The best way to use affiliate marketing is to know your audience. You need to ask yourself why people are coming to your site, and what it is they want. Once you know that, you will be more successful because you will be able to give people what they are looking for.

If you are going to make cash through the affiliate marketing industry, it is important that you know who your audience is. If your website is about to trumpet mouthpieces then you probably will not make very much profit by advertising for vacuum cleaners because your audience is not in the market for a new vacuum.

It is important to always disclose your affiliates right from the start. This will give your readers a sense of who you are and what you are about. They will also not feel surprised or manipulated when they see the advertisements from those companies, and you may end up bringing more business to those companies.

Trying different affiliate programs to find which one works best for you is okay. You have to find one that meets your needs with a payment plan that works best for you. You should also check other affiliate vendors to see if there are others that meet your needs more.

A great affiliate marketing tip is to make sure the vendor you’re working with doesn’t use tricks on their sales page to cheat you out of your commission. Sometimes companies will offer the visitor different options in terms of payment, and by selecting those options, you won’t receive any commission.

To increase the success of your affiliate marketing, evaluate the marketing platform of a potential affiliate company before you decide to advertise their products. If the quality of the company’s marketing is poor, you will not be likely to receive worthwhile profits from promoting their items. If you are not impressed, your visitors will not be either.

Make sure the affiliate program you choose provides you with tools to make selling easy. They should already have an array of graphics that they know drive sales, and text links which work. They should even have letters you can use via email or text snippets you can post on Twitter and Facebook. If they don’t, you should pass.

Experiment with a variety of different affiliate marketing programs, rather than just sticking with one. Different programs have different drawbacks and bonuses – for instance in the way they pay out, or the percentage of commission. Working with different vendors means that you will still have an income even if sales through any one vendor slows down. It’s worth taking the time to find a spread of vendors whose products and program you feel enthusiastic about.

Using the product that you are interested in selling before becoming an affiliate marketer can be an invaluable experience. The experience of using the product will also give you ideas on how to market the product’s usefulness, particularly, what areas the product performs well in. It will also help you to identify whether it is a high-quality product or a product that is not worth selling. If the product is not worth selling, don’t waste your time with that company. Many companies also offer a free trial period for their products, so make sure you take advantage of it when available.

Do not forget that affiliate marketing expands further than the Internet. You do not have to convert someone online. You may find a product that allows you to pitch by phone or by snail mail. This is a great way to increase your profits and profile as an affiliate. Just be sure that you’re ready to handle the work.

Remember, the more you learn about affiliate marketing the more potential success you can achieve. You can use and apply the tips you learned from this article to other tips you have learned throughout your affiliate marketing endeavors.

How Customers Are Using Their Money to Vote for Impact

Are you giving customers a good reason to spend their money with you?

It’s an important question. Chances are, your product or service is similar to someone else’s. Even if it’s unique for now, if you’re successful, it won’t be for long.

We’re in a changing marketplace. It’s not enough to provide an excellent product or service. It’s not enough to tell a great brand story, to engage people with emotion. Though these things remain important, buying has taken on a new dimension.

People want to know that their money is doing some good in the world. Whether your customers are consumers or businesses, the people making the buying decisions increasingly want their purchases to make a difference.

Whether it’s millennials, seeking to put their dollars or yen or euros into businesses that can demonstrate social impact, or older people who are thinking about legacy and what good they have done, buyers want to know that they are themselves having an impact.

More and more, customers want to know that your company aligns with their values. They expect to hear about it when they talk to your sales people and look at your marketing, or they’ll move on.

That makes your decisions to infuse your strategy and brand with your impact all the more important.

Your impact, where your unique company meets the world and makes it better for all of us, is increasingly essential in defining your company. Impact plays a significant role in buying decisions. Your commitment to impact can expand the number of customers you reach.

People want to know that what they do matters. Buying from companies that benefit all of us is becoming part of the fabric of their buying decisions.

Try These Tips If You Want To Succeed In Affiliate MarketingAffiliate

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to establish a good income with little or no overhead at all. Just a whole lot of honest hard work, dedication and of course, good information. This article is designed to provide you with some excellent advice on the business of affiliate marketing and help you find your way in and around it to a nice, consistent profit!

Trying to market popular products online will not produce good results in your affiliate status. You want to have a good quality product but it does not have to be uber popular. Choosing very popular products means you will be in fierce competition ahead. You may be unable to make a profit.

When selecting an affiliate marketing program, check out their resources in terms of sale-boosting items for you. A good affiliate program will offer you banner images, content for text ads, and letter templates, in order to help you boost sales. A sale for you is a sale for them, and you want to work for a company that understands your value as an affiliate.

Try looking into secret links. There are plenty of including affiliate links into your text without them being completely obvious. Be transparent about them if you use links and take advantage of their use. Make sure your readers understand the reason for the link so there are no surprises.

If someone visits a site about sports, they expect to see sports-themed news, ads, and merchandise. Only a sports-related link would benefit your affiliate site. If the site has relevant links, people will be more likely to access them.

It is better to affiliate partners that put out products if possible. You are more affiliate revenue by working with businesses that have a larger variety of products which are interesting to your consumers. Avoid one-trick pony and fads.

Anything you write during a marketing campaign or for your business, in general, should be written in plain, easy-to-understand language. Do not open the thesaurus and look for rarely-used words that make you seem a bit too snobbish. This is your Internet business, not a Newspaper. Readers want it simple.

It is advisable for affiliate partners to use text services in order to gain greater commissions.

A great affiliate marketing tip is to provide your real name and a working email address to your visitors and customers. Providing your name and email address will make you look credible, and you want to look as credible as possible in order to gain the trust of your visitors.

If your site has a sports-related theme, your viewers are there for sports. Only a sports-related link would benefit your affiliate sites that are related to the products you market. Your visitors will follow a link that is relevant to the information on your site.

Remember to always provide great, timely, valuable content that really gives your readers helpful and useful information. When you do this, your readers will have more faith in you and will be much more likely to want to do business with you. A great deal of affiliate marketing depends upon building a good relationship with your clients and proving yourself trustworthy and knowledgeable.

Consider using paid advertising to get a jump start on your affiliate marketing program. Ads that are targeted towards keywords related to your site.

One good way to evaluate a potential affiliate marketing partner is to examine the material they give to potential customers, such as their sales letter. You can learn a lot about an affiliate by seeing how they treat their customers. Think of yourself as a customer and ask yourself if the affiliate is someone you would buy from.
